As our new General Manager, Ben Danielsen, enters his third week, we are all celebrating retaining our Five Red Star Inspector’s Choice status, along with 3AA Rosettes and a Breakfast Award for the Dower House Restaurant.
“The extraordinary team of people here at the RCH are among the best I have ever worked with, and they are fully deserving of retaining this wonderful accolade. It is clear to me that every year their commitment to providing first-rate customer service, combined with the attention to detail which our return guests have come to expect, continues to enhance the guest experience beyond that which can be experienced in most hotels – making me very proud to now be standing at the helm,” said Ben of the hotel’s retention of the AA Five Red Star status. “In the three short weeks I have been here, I have witnessed first-hand the care and attention that goes into crafting each guest’s journey with us. Our aim is for every guest to feel personally looked after, to leave us feeling like the RCH is their “home from home” to which they can return whenever they wish. The rest of the team and I look forward to continuing to delight our guests, creating memorable experiences in our acre of secluded gardens, our award-winning restaurant, our tranquil spa, and simply the sanctity of their own rooms.”
First introduced in 1912, the AA’s hotel-rating scheme was the first of its kind in the UK and is considered to be one of the most prestigious. In order to be awarded Five Stars a hotel must tick all the boxes, but to be awarded Five Red Stars a hotel must be among the best of the best.
