We are delighted to share that, after months of work reviewing and updating our CSR and sustainability policies and processes, we have achieved the Green Key accreditation.
From Five Red Stars to Under The Stars: RCH Team Sleep Outside To Fundraise for Julian House
March 7, 2022On the morning of March 4th, several members of The RCH Team breathed a sign of relief as they woke up and checked the weather forecast: no rain! It would make that evening’s challenge that little bit more manageable…
A number of the team had committed to sleeping outside (without tents) all night in the hotel’s gardens, to raise funds for the local homelessness charity Julian House.
The RCH Team are taking part in this year’s Big Bath Sleep-Out in partnership with Julian House, to raise crucial funds to tackle homelessness and to help those who are forced to sleep out every night.
We are so proud of our Front of House Team, who were shortlisted for the “Front of House of the Year” accolade at the Hotel Catey Awards on Friday night!
We were delighted when guest Mr Lee Ruddin (pictured below) offered to send us a write up of his stay recently, and so we decided to share his experience as an RCH guest here in our blog!

“A Dacia-driving guest could feel like an interloper when pulling up outside The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa given the number of Range Rovers and Teslas parked at the apex (Nos. 15 & 16) of the semi-elliptical curve of 30 Grade I-listed townhouses. Yet Head Concierge Mark Hanks instantly made us feel at ease when retorting that the Sandero was probably worth more than the valet chit – exchanged for car keys – depending upon how much petrol it contained! (There was a fuel crisis in late September due to a lack of tanker drivers delivering to forecourts.)
We are so proud to announce that our Front of House Manager Lily Gaspar has made Hotel Management’s annual “Thirty Under 30” list!
Lily joined us in 2019, and quickly infused the team with her passion for hospitality and the guest experience. With a family background in the industry, hospitality runs through Lily’s veins, and she strives to surprise and delight every guest who walks through our doors.
We hope everybody is having an interesting week so far. As for us, we feel like we have woken up in an episode of Hedgehog Bridgerton!
We had a hot tip from Lady Whistledown that an amorous local male hedgehog has been paying our rescue hedgehog Daphne unchaperoned visits, resulting in four very cute baby hoglets. Check out this footage of our newest guests, captured by our Night Manager Patryk and our Server Lukasz.
What WILL the Duke of Hastings say Daphne?
