The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa was one of the very first UK hotels to be trained and accredited in Cancer Touch Therapy, and we are proud to provide specialist spa treatments for cancer patients at the hotel’s iconic The Spa & Bath House.
The fully accredited Cancer Touch Therapy training was launched in May 2016 by award-winning wellbeing brand, Made for Life by Spiezia Organics. The course was developed taking advice from trained oncology massage teachers, advisors within the oncology team at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust, and Macmillan Cancer Support, to enable spa therapists to offer expert healing massage therapy to those undergoing cancer treatment.
Using 100% organic skincare products by Spiezia Organics, treatments include Spiezia Touch Therapy Treatment: a gentle, soothing massage to relax the mind and body, combining beautifully fluid massage movements with a light, even pressure to promote harmony and well-being.
Spa Manager, Anette Hall, comments: “We are delighted to be able to offer our customers access to these specialised treatments. Touch Therapy means we open our doors to all, and the range of treatments, complemented by 100% organic skincare makes this a truly unique offering.”
All profits from Spiezia product sales go directly into the Made for Life Foundation to continue to support the complementary services they offer through the charity and extend their promotion of well-being for all.
